Alison & Paul's Love Bird Day Stationery

Alison and Paul requested brown paper invites with love bird illustrations throughout the design. The birds brought some humour to the invites you can see these cheeky chaps taking pictures and dancing around the stationery! 

To carry the theme through to the Wedding day we produced a Bird Cage Table plan with separate cards pegged on, place cards and an upload for their I Spy Cards. 

Alison is a photographer therefore wanted her guests to take control on the day, the I Spy cards gave a list of photos which needed to be captured.

Eve and Kieran's World Map Table Plan

"Happiness is a journey, not a destination..." 

Eve and Kieran love to see the world, for their table plan they wanted a World Map which picked out all of the destinations they've visited together including their honeymoon to Las Vegas, Hawaii and Florida. 

This world map was printed onto a canvas and stapled to a vintage gold frame. We pinned the destinations on by hand with butterfly clips and used string to pick out the places. 

We thoroughly enjoyed creating this Table plan for Eve and Kieran's big day and it looked amazing in Colshaw Hall.

Rodo Creative Raise £400 for the North West Air Ambulance in the Great Manchester Run!

Yesterday we took part in the Great Manchester Run to raise money for the North West Air Ambulance. The atmosphere was fantastic and seemed to carry us along - until we hit 8K and ate a Jelly Baby which actually just made us feel sick rather than giving us extra energy! But, with the encouragement from the runners around us we did it! We crossed the finish line thinking of the amazing £400 we raised for charity.

Well deserved cocktails to celebrate!

For our first 10K we were so pleased with our times, we have set the mark now and will try to beat these next year. It's Sarah's wedding in June next year so its also a good way to keep in shape for the big day! Everyone told us how well organised the Manchester Great Run is and they were right http://www.greatrun.org/ 

Again we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated to our charity and also to those who came to support us on the day! 

Christmas Cards!

So it's that time of year again, the shops are filled with Christmas cards! At Rodo Creative HQ we have been busy designing and making Christmas cards for our customers, its nice to keep in touch and say a thank you for their support over the year!

North West Wedding Fair - Event City

Here are a few photos from our Debut at The North West Wedding Fair at Event City.

In the lead up to the day we spent lots of time planning how our stall would look, we used our Pinterest board to gather ideas and inspiration from leading Stationery shows around the world including The National Stationery Show in New York.

After days of painting wood fences and building furniture we were ready and the stall came together the way we imagined :) Was great to see all of our work showcased so well.

It was a great three days and we met so many lovely couples! Here are a few photographs from the day... We can't wait for next years now!

Congratulations to our Competition Winner!

After having so much interest in our competition for one lucky Bride and Groom to win Bespoke Wedding stationery, we are so happy to Announce, the winner of the Bespoke Invitation Package is....Claire Lofthouse and her Vintage meets Zoo theme! Congratulations to Claire we can't wait to start work on her invitations! She has some great ideas for her special day and we are so excited to be a part of the process!

Claire and Paul are getting married at Chester zoo in June 2015, which gives us more than enough time to plan their invitation designs. We are keeping our eyes pealed for illustrated animals for inspiration and fun fonts which will compliment their wedding. We can't wait to get started on these unique designs!

The response we got from our competition was fantastic, we wish we could have had more than one winner. From Alice and Wonderland to a Rollar coaster Theme, the variety of entrants was brilliant it's nice to see that people are thinking so creatively about their Wedding Stationery.
