So it's that time of year again, the shops are filled with Christmas cards! At Rodo Creative HQ we have been busy designing and making Christmas cards for our customers, its nice to keep in touch and say a thank you for their support over the year!

North West Wedding Fair - Event City

Here are a few photos from our Debut at The North West Wedding Fair at Event City.

In the lead up to the day we spent lots of time planning how our stall would look, we used our Pinterest board to gather ideas and inspiration from leading Stationery shows around the world including The National Stationery Show in New York.

After days of painting wood fences and building furniture we were ready and the stall came together the way we imagined :) Was great to see all of our work showcased so well.

It was a great three days and we met so many lovely couples! Here are a few photographs from the day... We can't wait for next years now!

Congratulations to our Competition Winner!

After having so much interest in our competition for one lucky Bride and Groom to win Bespoke Wedding stationery, we are so happy to Announce, the winner of the Bespoke Invitation Package is....Claire Lofthouse and her Vintage meets Zoo theme! Congratulations to Claire we can't wait to start work on her invitations! She has some great ideas for her special day and we are so excited to be a part of the process!

Claire and Paul are getting married at Chester zoo in June 2015, which gives us more than enough time to plan their invitation designs. We are keeping our eyes pealed for illustrated animals for inspiration and fun fonts which will compliment their wedding. We can't wait to get started on these unique designs!

The response we got from our competition was fantastic, we wish we could have had more than one winner. From Alice and Wonderland to a Rollar coaster Theme, the variety of entrants was brilliant it's nice to see that people are thinking so creatively about their Wedding Stationery.

This week we signed up for Creative Cloud!

This week we signed up for Creative Cloud! 

After us saving up and finally purchasing the Mac Book Pro we thought it was time to move from Adobe CS4 Creative Suite and treat ourselves to Creative Cloud! It's a fantastic piece of software which allows you to upgrade to the latest programs instantly with no worry of how much it's going to cost. We've already upgraded illustrator and we were so pleased to see tutorials of how to use the new tools, the Pencil tool is now our friend :-)!

Any of you thinking of taking the leap to Creative Cloud - we say go for it! It's a brilliant investment which we feel like we're going to learn a lot from :-)
